Care for, play with, and support the youngest members
You work in a community daycare supporting young children (ages 3-6) in their early development. It's a space of play, learning, and care where education becomes experience. You design and lead play-based learning activities, supervise safety and nutrition, and become a stable, caring figure for the children. The work is physical, joyful, and deeply transformative.
How you'll help on the ground
Design and coordinate educational play activities for young children
Support daily routines: meals, hygiene, nap time
Create a safe and nurturing environment for early development
Collaborate with local educators on activity planning
Document and report on children's progress
Participate in training on first aid and child protection
Requirements to participate
- ✓Prior experience caring for or teaching young children
- ✓Energy, patience, and adaptability
- ✓Basic English (team speaks Kiswahili)
- ✓Active international medical insurance
- ✓Genuine willingness to collaborate and help
